These stories will used as positive examples on SeeingGrowth.com, through media outlets, through classrooms, youth groups/organizations, social networks and through word of mouth to promote the positive endeavors of Black People. You will be showing support to Black People, our advancement, our communities and our children when you refer a Black Person Making History.

 

What is a Black Person Making History?

 

A Black Person Making Hisotry is a Black American Person that is making positive efforts within their community. This person has made or is making accomplishments that are important to the development of Black American progress.

 

They may be artists, athletes, authors/publishers, civic/social leaders, educators, entertainers, entreprenuers, military, public servants, religious leaders, trend setters, or they maybe someone you have worked with or admired over the years. They may be someone who you have read about. Please feel free to refer someone as a Black Person Making History. Make sure to note why they qualify as a Black Person Making History. Since it is often difficult locating someone if we do not have current contact information, PLEASE include contact information below as well.
